Having a newborn is such a precious and fleeting experience. I want to preserve this moment in time for you and your family.

My styling is simple and modern so the focus is your baby. Your gallery is styled to suit you. You will receive a combination of simplistic and elegant baby poses. I can also provide a few fun images using cute props like a bear or bunny bonnet on request. I believe simplicity is the key to creating beautiful and timeless images.

Newborns are best photographed in the first few weeks to capture those sweet sleepy poses. Your baby’s safety and comfort is my first priority. I don’t do any poses that are unsafe, I have a current Working With Children Check and all relevant immunisations.

I work in a relaxed and natural light home studio environment. Partners and siblings are more than welcome to attend. I have a patient and caring approach as I believe that capturing the best shots for families means allowing ample time for the unpredictability of working with children. I source beautiful outfits and blankets to create a unique minimalist style, along with dresses for mumma’s to borrow from my client wardrobe.

It is never too early to book in for a newborn shoot. Sessions fill up fast as I can only take a limited number of bookings around each of my client’s due dates. I recommend booking in anytime from when you are 12 weeks pregnant to secure your spot.

If you have missed out on your baby’s newborn session within the first few weeks, please don’t feel it is too late. Babies can be photographed at any age and every stage, I have plenty of experience photographing newborns in the first few months and each session is just as magical. Newborn portrait sessions are held in my natural light home studio located in Rowville in Melbourne’s South East. I am close to both Monash Freeway and Eastlink.

Newborn portrait sessions are held 10am weekdays. Your session date is organsied within 48 hours of your baby’s arrival to ensure we photograph your baby within the first 5-14 days. Bookings are limited each month and it’s recommended to book in at the beginning of your second trimester to avoid dissapointment.

Weekends can be arranged subject to limited availability and incur a weekend surcharge.
